Oura Ring Ceramic Version Features

FORT WORTH, TexasOura Health Oy, a Finnish smart ring maker, has introduced its latest product, the Oura Ring 4 Ceramic, which is priced at $499. This premium version boasts a more durable ceramic material, appealing primarily to its female customer base.

Announced on October 1, 2025, the Oura Ring 4 Ceramic offers improved sweat and scratch resistance compared to the company’s titanium base model, which costs $349. The new ring is available in four colors: light green, off white, pink, and dark blue.

The Oura Ring 4 Ceramic is slightly thicker than the standard version at 3.51 mm, compared to 2.88 mm. Despite being heavier, the new design maintains the same sensors and metrics as its predecessor, ensuring users receive consistent health data.

Oura’s CEO, Tom Hale, stated, “Today’s announcements mark a significant leap forward in empowering our members to take charge of their well-being.” The company continues to enhance its software capabilities, including a new Health Panels feature, which enables users to schedule lab tests through Quest Diagnostics via the app. The tests will monitor up to 50 metabolic markers and cost $99.

In addition to the Health Panels, Oura also introduces multi-ring support in its app, allowing users to seamlessly switch between multiple rings based on their moods or outfits. Earlier versions of the Oura rings have seen robust sales, with approximately 5.5 million rings sold since 2013, half of which were sold in the last year.

To further enhance convenience, Oura has launched a palm-sized charging case that can recharge the Oura Ring 4 Ceramic up to five times and takes 90 minutes for a full charge. The case’s design is specifically tailored to each ring size.

The new features also include a solid commitment to sustainability, with a recycling program that allows users to return their older rings.

Health panels are expected to be widely available in the U.S., with exceptions in states like Arizona and New York. Customers 18 and older can take advantage of this new service.
