2025 PGA Tour Schedule Unveiled: 39 Events Across 18 States and 6 Countries
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — The PGA Tour announced its 2025 schedule, featuring 36 regular-season tournaments and three FedEx Cup Playoff events spanning 18 states and six countries. The season kicks off Dec. 30, 2024, in Hawaii and concludes Aug. 24, 2025, with the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia.
The 2025 schedule includes eight signature events with limited fields and increased prize money, four major championships, and 18 full-field tournaments. Notable changes include the relocation of The Genesis Invitational to Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, California, following wildfires at The Riviera Country Club, and the introduction of a minimum field size of 72 players for all signature events.
Scottie Scheffler, the 2024 Player of the Year, will make his 2025 debut at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, one of the season’s signature events. Each signature event offers a $20 million purse and 700 FedExCup points to the winner. The Genesis Invitational, Arnold Palmer Invitational, and The Memorial Tournament will feature a 36-hole cut to the top 50 players and ties, with $4 million going to the winner.
New for 2025, ESPN BET will launch a live betting stream on PGA TOUR LIVE, covering six marquee FedExCup events, including three signature tournaments. FanDuel remains the official betting operator of the PGA Tour, providing odds and analysis through the tour’s app and website.
The season’s major championships include The Masters at Augusta National Golf Club, the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, the U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania, and The Open at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland. The FedEx Cup Playoffs will feature the FedEx St. Jude Championship, BMW Championship, and Tour Championship, culminating in Atlanta.
Defending champions from 2024 include Hideki Matsuyama (The Sentry), Wyndham Clark (AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am), and Scottie Scheffler, who won four signature events last year. The 2025 schedule also includes international stops in Mexico, Canada, Scotland, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico.
