Post Malone, the acclaimed rapper and musician, is currently on tour promoting his latest album, “F-1 Trillion,” which was released on August 16. The album’s first single, “I Had Some Help,” featuring Morgan Wallen, quickly ascended to the top of the Billboard Hot 100. Although Malone’s performances in Alabama have concluded, fans still have the opportunity to attend his show at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on October 19. Additional tour dates have been added, extending the tour to Texas in late October and San Diego in December.

Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, has consistently pushed musical boundaries with his unique blend of hip-hop, pop, R&B, trap, and country. His stage name, derived from a rap name generator using his birth name, complements his genre-bending approach to music.

The tour commenced on September 8 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and has since captivated audiences across various locations. According to promotional materials, Malone, as a Dallas, Texas native, “regularly rewrites history, blurs boundaries, and incites internet-breaking conversation with every move.”

One of the noteworthy features of Malone’s tour is the involvement of Muscadine Bloodline, an Alabama-based country duo consisting of Charlie Muncaster and Gary Stanton. This group, known for their localized and guitar-driven songwriting, will open for Post Malone at Nissan Stadium. Muscadine Bloodline’s career trajectory is a testament to the shifting dynamics within the music industry, where an independent mindset co-exists with mainstream success.

In an interview with The Tennessean, Muncaster emphasized that success does not require being the most popular act, stating, “We’re not the kind of band that ever expects to be the coolest act on Music Row or at the top of everyone’s CMA Award ballots.” The duo’s embrace of authenticity and refusal to adhere to typical industry formulas have garnered them critical acclaim and opened doors previously believed to be inaccessible in Nashville.

Muscadine Bloodline’s journey began in venues like Mobile‘s Soul Kitchen Music Hall, where they honed their signature style blending rustic folk, pop, and Zydeco influences. Their perseverance paid off, leading to the release of “The Coastal Plain,” an album that reflects their growth and readiness to take on larger stages.

Through songs such as “Low Hanging Fruit” and “Daffodils,” Muncaster and Stanton aim to emotionally connect with listeners by expressing universal emotions through their music. According to Muncaster, “This is the culmination of a decade of growth and honing in on our craft. Now, we’ve formulated our best songs at what appears to be the perfect time.”

The opportunity to perform in front of large audiences during Post Malone’s tour marks a significant milestone for Muscadine Bloodline. Stanton reflected on this experience, stating, “We have no business being in front of these crowds, but one of the biggest artists in the world believes in our ability to show his fans what we can do.”
