Nc State Quarterback Injury

During the first half of North Carolina State University‘s (NC State) 30-20 triumph, the team’s starting quarterback left the field with an undisclosed injury and did not return. His departure occurred shortly after a brief struggle on the field, where he completed 9 of 13 passes for 54 yards. Following a successful drive for a field goal, the quarterback was visibly upset as he made his way to the locker room, a towel draped over his head.

NC State has not revealed the specifics of the injury sustained by the quarterback. Head Coach Dave Doeren refrained from making any comments regarding the injury, indicating that further details would be provided during his weekly press conference scheduled for Monday.

In the absence of their leading quarterback, a true freshman stepped in to guide NC State to victory. He managed to complete 13 of 20 passes for a total of 156 yards, although he did suffer an interception. Impressively, he contributed an additional 27 yards on the ground and secured a touchdown for the team.

This particular quarterback had transferred to NC State from another institution during the offseason, with aspirations of leading the Wolfpack to an Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) championship. However, the start of the season has been tumultuous. Prior to this game, NC State endured a challenging 51-10 defeat, adding to the hurdles faced by the team thus far.
