Quinn Sullivan Claims BIMBO Goal of the Month Again

CHESTER, Pa. — Quinn Sullivan, a rising star for the Philadelphia Union, has been recognized as the recipient of May’s BIMBO Goal of the Month award. Sullivan’s standout moment came in the seventh minute of a match against Inter Miami CF at Subaru Park.
The 21-year-old midfielder scored with a stunning shot to the top corner after receiving a corner kick pass from teammate Kai Wagner. This impressive goal secured Sullivan’s second consecutive BIMBO Goal of the Month honor, following his noteworthy strike against Atlanta United FC in April.
“It’s a great feeling to be recognized by the fans,” Sullivan said. “Every time I get the chance to contribute to the team, it’s special.”
In addition to Sullivan’s accolades, the Union also celebrated a remarkable assist by Andrew Rick. The goalkeeper, alongside Sullivan, was pivotal during a match against Columbus Crew SC where he provided a perfect free kick that set Sullivan up for a cross to Tai Baribo, resulting in another goal.
Rick’s assist not only aided the team but also made him the youngest goalkeeper in MLS history to record an assist. It highlights the Union’s strength in developing homegrown talent.
The team’s achievements this month showcase their growth and resilience as they continue to compete in the Eastern Conference.
