TORONTO, Canada — The Toronto Raptors secured their eighth consecutive victory by defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 110-99 on Monday night at Scotiabank Arena. Brandon Ingram led the Raptors with a season-high 37 points, including 15 in a pivotal third quarter.

In addition to Ingram’s standout performance, Pascal Siakam contributed 18 points and 11 rebounds. The Raptors have now won 12 of their last 13 games, with two of those victories coming against the Cavaliers, marking the first time they swept the season series since the 2019-20 season.

Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell scored 17 points but struggled with his shooting, finishing 6 of 20 from the field and 3 of 12 from beyond the arc. Caris LeVert and Nae'Qwan each added 14 points for the Cavaliers. Meanwhile, Cleveland’s Kevin Love managed only eight points, hitting just 3 of 15 attempts overall.

The Raptors ended the first half with a 13-2 run that gave them a 57-54 lead at halftime. Toronto played without RJ Barrett, who is sidelined with a sprained right knee that he suffered during a previous game against Brooklyn. Tests confirmed no serious injury, as per coach Darko Rajakovic.

Ingram’s performance in the third quarter included a 3-pointer that pushed the Raptors to their largest lead of the game at 88-74. The Cavaliers were also missing some key players, with Jarrett Allen out due to a sore left big toe and De'Andre Hunter resting on the second night of a back-to-back.

The Raptors’ Jakob Poeltl recorded 13 rebounds in addition to his contributions on the offensive end. The Cavaliers had seven players on the injury list, including Darius Garland, who missed his third straight game with a sprained finger.

Next up, the Cavaliers will visit the Atlanta Hawks on Friday, while the Raptors will host the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.
