Zay Flowers Ravens Injury Playoff Game 2025

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Baltimore Ravens will be without star wide receiver Zay Flowers for their Divisional Round playoff game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night. Flowers, who suffered a knee injury in the regular-season finale, was officially ruled inactive after being listed as doubtful on the injury report.

Flowers missed all practices this week and sat out the Ravens’ Wild Card Round victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Despite head coach John Harbaugh expressing optimism about Flowers’ potential return, the 24-year-old Pro Bowler was unable to recover in time for the critical matchup.

Flowers led the Ravens in receptions (74), receiving yards (1,059), and targets (116) during the 2024 season, becoming the first Ravens wide receiver to earn a Pro Bowl nod. His absence leaves a significant void in Baltimore’s passing attack, which will now rely more heavily on Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor, who combined for three catches and 49 yards in the Wild Card Round.

The Ravens adjusted without Flowers last week by leaning on their ground game, which set a franchise playoff record with 299 rushing yards against the Steelers. Tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely also stepped up, combining for seven receptions and 80 yards. Baltimore may employ a similar strategy against a Bills defense that held the Denver Broncos to just seven points and 224 total yards in their previous playoff game.

Meanwhile, the Bills enter the game fully healthy, with backup running back Ray Davis cleared to play after recovering from a concussion. Davis contributed 442 rushing yards and five touchdowns during the regular season.

Kickoff at Highmark Stadium is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET, with light snow expected during warmups but clearing before the game begins. Temperatures are forecast to hover around 20 degrees, with minimal wind.
