Reagan Stoop Recognized as ODAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

Reagan Stoop of the Bridgewater College women’s volleyball team has been distinguished as the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week. The sophomore, hailing from Belhaven, delivered an exceptional performance in her home state, leading the Eagles to a flawless 4-0 record over the weekend in Raleigh, without conceding a single set.

During the weekend competition, Stoop amassed a total of 48 kills across 10 sets, maintaining an impressive .381 hitting percentage. On Saturday, September 7, she achieved 17 kills without committing an error in the first match against Oglethorpe University. Later that day, she recorded 18 kills in a victory over Meredith College.

This honor marks Stoop’s fourth selection as ODAC Player of the Week, following her three selections last season. Bridgewater College, a private, four-year liberal arts institution, was established in 1880 and is situated in the Central Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Presently, the college hosts approximately 1,450 students and provides more than 60 undergraduate majors and minors, along with four graduate programs distributed across three distinctive schools.
