Rehearsal Photos Released for West End Play ‘Barcelona’ Featuring Lily Collins and Álvaro Morte

Rehearsal images have been unveiled for the highly anticipated play, ‘Barcelona’, which stars Lily Collins, known for her role in ‘Emily in Paris’, and Álvaro Morte, famous for ‘Money Heist’. The production is set to open in London’s West End later this month.

The play, penned by the acclaimed playwright Bess Wohl, will be directed by Lynette Linton. ‘Barcelona’ is set to run at the Duke of York’s Theatre from October 21, 2024, for an exclusive 12-week season. Described as a thriller, the narrative follows an American tourist whose night with a charismatic Spaniard takes an unexpected and perilous turn.

The creative team behind the production features set and costume design by Frankie Bradshaw, lighting by Jai Morjaria, and composition and sound design by Duramaney Kamara and Xana. Video design will be by Gino Ricardo Green, with wigs, hair, and makeup crafted by Cynthia De La Rosa. Casting for the UK is overseen by Heather Basten, while Jim Carnahan handles US casting. Shelley Maxwell will direct movement and intimacy, with vocal coaching by Hazel Holder and dramatherapy by Wabriya King.

Associate roles include direction by Katie Greenall and design by Natalie Johnson. Caroline Stevens acts as associate costume designer and supervisor. The production manager is Kate West, assisted by Charlotte Ranson.

Produced by ATG Productions, Bad Robot Live, and Gavin Kalin Productions, ‘Barcelona’ promises an intriguing exploration of identity and deception, wrapped in humor and suspense to captivate audiences.
