San Jose Sharks Vs Seattle Kraken 2025 Game

SAN JOSE, Calif. — The San Jose Sharks will face the Seattle Kraken in a nationally televised NHL game on Thursday, exclusively broadcast on ESPN. The matchup, set for 10:30 p.m. ET at Climate Pledge Arena, marks the second time this season the Sharks are featured on ESPN.

The broadcast team includes Roxy Bernstein on play-by-play, Ray Ferraro as color analyst, and Leah Hextall reporting from ice level. ESPN has previously aired the Sharks’ games, including their October 29 home game against the Los Angeles Kings and an upcoming March 30 game in Los Angeles.

The Sharks, currently last in the NHL standings with a 15-32-6 record, snapped a six-game losing streak with a 2-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday. Meanwhile, the Kraken, holding a 22-27-3 record, have lost three of their last four games and sit seventh in the Pacific Division, 11 points ahead of San Jose.

This season, the Sharks lead the series 2-0, sweeping a home-and-home against the Kraken in late November. The Over has cashed in both meetings, with San Jose winning three consecutive games in the series.

Goaltenders Yaroslav Askarov (4-5-2, 2.87 GAA, .905 SV%) and Joey Daccord (17-12-2, 2.45 GAA, .917 SV%, 1 SO) are confirmed starters. Askarov allowed just one goal in the Sharks’ recent win, while Daccord gave up three goals in a loss to Edmonton on Monday.

NBC Sports California will resume its Sharks broadcasting schedule on Tuesday when the team hosts the Montreal Canadiens.
