Senior KPMG Partner Celebrates a Decade at the Firm Amid Job Cuts
Senior KPMG partner Paul Howes is set to mark a significant milestone next month as he reaches a decade at the renowned big four consulting firm.
Reflecting on his journey, Howes expressed surprise at his tenure, stating, “I didn’t think I was gonna be here for 10 years when I started, and I don’t think many other people thought I would be as well,”
The consultancy giant, KPMG, recently announced plans to streamline and restructure its operations, anticipating shifts in market demand and technology trends.
Paul Howes, the national manager partner of KPMG’s consulting division, highlighted the need to realign services and sectors to better meet evolving market needs, aiming to achieve annual cost savings of approximately $80 million.
As part of this restructuring, around 250 roles within KPMG are expected to be affected, with some teams transitioning to other divisions and redeploying skilled personnel to areas of high demand.
