San Jose Sharks Pride Celebration Game 2025

The San Jose Sharks will host the Minnesota Wild on Saturday, January 11, 2025, in their annual Pride Celebration Game at SAP Center in San Jose, California. The game, set to begin at 7 p.m. PT, will be broadcast on NBCSCA and available for listening on the Sharks Audio Network and the Sharks & SAP Center app.

The Sharks, currently 13-25-6 and sitting in the Pacific Division, face a tough challenge against the Wild, who are 26-12-4 and leading the Central Division. The Wild are riding a three-game road winning streak, while the Sharks are looking to turn around their recent struggles, having gone 2-7-1 in their last 10 games.

San Jose has struggled at home this season, with an 8-13-1 record, and has a -38 scoring differential, having scored 113 goals while allowing 151. Minnesota, on the other hand, has been strong on the road, boasting a 15-3-3 record away from home. The Wild have been dominant when scoring at least three goals, with a 24-1-2 record in such games.

This will be the second meeting between the two teams this season. The Wild won the previous matchup 5-2, with Matthew Boldy scoring two goals. Fabian Zetterlund leads the Sharks with 12 goals and 16 assists, while Mats Zuccarello has been a key player for the Wild, contributing 10 goals and 17 assists.

Both teams come into the game without any listed injuries, setting the stage for a competitive matchup. The Sharks will aim to leverage their home crowd and the celebratory atmosphere of the Pride game to snap their losing streak, while the Wild look to continue their strong road performance.
