Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a grenade was discovered among donations at a Goodwill store in Fort Pierce, Florida. At approximately 12:50 p.m. on Saturday, officers with the Fort Pierce Police Department responded to reports of a suspicious object at the Sabal Palm Plaza location.
Upon arrival, police found an active grenade mixed with other donated items. The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Disposal Unit confirmed the grenade was real and safely removed it from the premises.
