2024 Six Nations Rugby Championship: Fixtures, Kick Off Times, And Broadcast Information

The 2024 Six Nations Championship is underway. From 2 February to 16 March, the top six rugby nations in the northern hemisphere will clash in venues across Europe to determine which team will be crowned continental champions.

This year’s edition, set to feature defending Grand Slam champions Ireland, France, England, Wales, Scotland, and Italy, will be a tournament of transition with several notable names having officially stepped back from the game.

Irish legend Johnny Sexton, Scotland’s Stuart Hogg, and Wales stalwart Alun Wyn Jones have all retired since last year’s tournament.

France will be without their talisman Antoine Dupont, who has this year’s competition in pursuit of a place in the event at the, while England will be missing captain Owen Farrell who has stepped down on mental health grounds.

All teams will play each other once in a round-robin format with four points awarded for a win and two points awarded for a draw. A bonus point is awarded to a team if they score four or more tries, or lose by seven points or fewer.

Three bonus points are also awarded to a team that wins all five of their matches – known as the Grand Slam – to ensure that a Grand Slam-winning team tops the table.

For those watching in the UK, BBC and ITV will share the broadcasting rights for the Six Nations across the five rounds. Streaming platforms BBC iPlayer and ITVX will also stream the games online.

In South Africa, the games will be available to watch on SuperSport; in the USA, all matches will be available on CNBC; SkySports NZ has the rights to the Six Nations in New Zealand, and Australian rugby union fans can watch on Stan Sport.
