STOCKTON, Calif. – Skal Labissière has officially signed with the Stockton Kings, the G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, after being inactive for the start of the season. Labissière, who has not played any games this year, brings added depth to a team that currently holds a strong record of 31-28.

This signing follows a rollercoaster season for Labissière, who was waived earlier and subsequently signed by the Kings but has yet to appear in a game. The Stockton Kings are averaging an impressive 116.8 points per game during his absence.

On Saturday evening, the Stockton Kings faced off against the Sioux Falls Skyforce, winning decisively with a score of 117-98 at Adventist Health Arena. Isaiah Crawford led the team with a career-high 25 points, while Kings guard Devin Carter contributed significantly with 24 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists. Two-way forward Isaac Jones also made an impact, recording his sixth double-double of the season with 18 points and 13 rebounds.

Labissière managed to score 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the game, showcasing his potential as he acclimates back into playing shape. The Kings held their opponents under 100 points for the fifth time this season, highlighting their defensive capabilities.

In the first quarter, the Kings tied the game at seven before closing out the quarter with a narrow 26-24 lead. They continued to build momentum, leading 43-38 with just under five minutes left in the second quarter, and finished the half with a dominant 13-4 run, leading 56-42.

The Kings maintained their advantage throughout the second half, leading by as much as 27 points, with an impressive shooting percentage of 50% or better in three out of four quarters.
