Soccer Aid has officially revealed its star-studded lineup for the upcoming 2024 event, featuring a mix of celebrities and sports personalities set to grace the pitch at Stamford Bridge. Among the new faces making their debut are Bobby Brazier, Sam Thompson, Erin Doherty, Frank Lampard, Stuart Broad, Eden Hazard, and the Gladiator‘s Diamond.
Returning to the Soccer Aid scene are familiar names such as Robbie Williams, Roman Kemp, Martin Compston, Lee Mack, Steven Bartlett, Paddy McGuinness, Alex Brooker, Tom Grennan, and Maisie Adam. The sports stars taking part again include Usain Bolt, Harry Redknapp, Mauricio Pochettino, Jesus Perez, Jill Scott, Karen Carney, Jermain Defoe, Sir Mo Farah, David James, Tommy Fury, Gary Cahill, David Seaman, Roberto Carlos, Joe Cole, and Jack Wilshere.
The highly anticipated Soccer Aid charity match is scheduled for June 9th at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea’s iconic home ground, with additional players set to be announced in the coming days. Frank Lampard will lead the England team, while Mauricio Pochettino will take charge of the World XI.
The event will be broadcasted on ITV1, STV and ITVX, with Dermot O’Leary and Alex Scott as hosts. Sam Matterface and Iain Stirling will provide commentary, with a special halftime performance scheduled (performer to be disclosed later).
