South Africa emerged victorious in a nail-biting encounter against Bangladesh, clinching a 4-run win in the ICC T20 World Cup match held in Nasau.

Opting to bat first after winning the toss, South Africa managed to score only 113 runs with Hasan Shakib of Bangladesh taking crucial wickets in the early overs.

The opening stand for South Africa faltered with early wickets of Markram, Stabbs, and de Kock, leaving the team at 23 runs for 4 wickets. However, a partnership between Klaasen and Miller provided some stability, but the middle order soon collapsed.

Mustafizur’s spell proved costly but Jacobs managed to keep the pressure on, restricting South Africa to only 113 for 6 wickets in their 20 overs.
