SpaceX Set for Launch of 29 Starlink Satellites from Florida
CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida — SpaceX is gearing up to launch 29 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit on November 5, 2025. The mission, named Starlink 6-81, is set to lift off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 6:48 p.m. EST (2348 UTC).
The Falcon 9 rocket will take flight from Space Launch Complex 40, following a south-easterly trajectory off the Florida coast. Spaceflight Now plans to provide live coverage starting an hour before the launch.
According to forecasts from the 45th Weather Squadron, there is over a 95 percent chance of favorable weather during the launch. Meteorologists have indicated no major weather concerns that could affect the liftoff or the recovery of the rocket’s booster.
This launch will utilize the Falcon 9 first stage booster designated B1094, marking its fifth trip to space. Previous missions for this booster include Crew-11, Ax-4, NG-23, and another Starlink mission. Approximately 8.5 minutes after liftoff, B1094 is expected to land autonomously on the drone ship, Just Read the Instructions, located in the Atlantic Ocean east of The Bahamas. Should this landing succeed, it will be the 140th successful booster landing on that ship.
SpaceX recently completed another Starlink mission on October 29, successfully sending additional satellites into orbit. As of this year, SpaceX has launched a total of 138 missions, including 99 dedicated to deploying Starlink satellites, totaling over 8,700 satellites designed to provide global internet service.
The upcoming Starlink mission underscores SpaceX’s commitment to expanding its satellite network, aimed at ensuring internet access for users around the world.
