Spurs Legends Set to Face AC Milan Glorie in Charity Match

TOTENHAM, England — Spurs Legends will face off against AC Milan Glorie this Sunday, March 23, 2025, in a charity match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 2 p.m. GMT. The event aims to raise funds for the Hotspur Foundation, which supports local charitable initiatives.
Fans attending the match are advised to plan their travel in advance, as there will be disruptions across parts of the Greater Anglia network. Frequent services are expected at nearby stations including White Hart Lane, Northumberland Park, Seven Sisters, and Tottenham Hale.
Four Weaver line services will operate in both directions at White Hart Lane throughout the day. Supporters looking to return to Liverpool Street post-match should consider Northumberland Park for its greater capacity and a shorter travel time due to fewer stops.
“It’s crucial for fans to check the latest travel updates as we anticipate a high attendance at the stadium,” said a club spokesperson. “Services are being optimized to ensure everyone can enjoy the match smoothly.”
For those utilizing Greater Anglia services, it is recommended to use Northumberland Park, as it is closer to the stadium compared to Tottenham Hale. Trains will run every 10 to 15 minutes. Additionally, bus replacement services will be available for northern journeys towards Stansted Airport due to planned engineering works.
Tottenham Hale, accessible via the Victoria line, is also advised for travel as it serves more frequent services before and after the match, operating every 2-3 minutes.
Pedestrian diversions will be in place at Birstall Road for interchange to mitigate congestion, and queue management systems will be enforced at stations to ensure the safety and efficiency of supporter movement.
The club will provide a free shuttle bus service from Wood Green and Alexandra Palace stations directly to the stadium. Cyclists are welcome, with dedicated bike stands available nearby to accommodate those arriving by bike.
In addition to the travel details, the charity match promises to feature several legendary footballers. Coached by Pat Jennings, Ossie Ardiles, and Clive Allen, the Spurs Legends squad will include notable names such as David Ginola, Ledley King, and Teddy Sheringham.
AC Milan Glorie, known for their commitment to charity matches, will bring a star-studded roster that may include World Cup champions like Dida, Cafu, and Andrea Pirlo, as well as Champions League heroes such as Serginho and Massimo Ambrosini.
“This match is not only about football but also about giving back to the community,” noted Jennings. “We are excited to entertain the fans while supporting important causes.”
Although the match will not be televised live in the UK, fans can watch through the AC Milan Official App and follow updates via Standard Sport’s live blog. The charity game coincides with the international break, providing an excellent opportunity for fans to witness their heroes on the pitch once more.
