Star-Studded Line-Up Returns for Six Nations Coverage on ITV and BBC
The anticipation is high as the Six Nations prepares to return to television screens with ITV and BBC sharing coverage of the annual championship. The two terrestrial broadcasters have inked a deal running until the end of the 2025 edition. A blend of familiar faces and new additions will provide expert analysis during the Six Nations campaign.
ITV’s line-up includes Mark Pougatch, Jill Douglas, Nick Mullins, Miles Harrison, Topsy Ojo, Gabriel Clarke, and recently-retired Wales fly half Dan Biggar joining the punditry team. Notably, Sir Clive Woodward will no longer be part of the team, choosing to focus on other ventures.
The ITV punditry roster boasts legends like Jonny Wilkinson, Lawrence Dallaglio, Maggie Alphonsi, Ugo Monye, Brian O’Driscoll, Rory Best, Jamie Roberts, Dan Biggar, Sir Ian McGeechan, Johnnie Beattie, Sergio Parisse, and more. Ben Kayser will serve as co-commentator alongside other accomplished co-commentators.
On the BBC side, Gabby Logan leads the presenter team with Andrew Cotter as the primary play-by-play commentator. The punditry team features the likes of Sam Warburton, Martin Johnson, John Barclay, Jonathan Davies, Chris Paterson, Dylan Hartley, and Nigel Owens providing expert insights throughout the tournament.
