PARIS, France — Stars Eiza Gonzalez, John Krasinski, Natalie Portman, and Domhnall Gleeson promoted their new film, ‘Fountain of Youth,’ during a portrait session in Paris on Monday, April 30, 2025. The movie, directed by Guy Ritchie, takes audiences on a globe-trotting heist filled with adventure and intrigue.

In the film, Krasinski and Gonzalez play estranged siblings seeking the mythical Fountain of Youth. Their journey takes them from Vienna to the Great Pyramids, all while evading a mysterious organization trying to thwart their efforts. “I’ve been looking to watch this movie for years,” Krasinski said. “This is what got me into the business.”

Eiza Gonzalez expressed her excitement about working with an exceptional cast. “The biggest gift Guy has given me is working with them,” she said. Domhnall Gleeson, who plays a wealthy businessman funding the quest, mentioned the joy of being part of a fun-filled production. “If you’re not having fun, then this is not going to work,” Gleeson said.

Portman was drawn to the film not only for its scale but also for the opportunity to share it with her children. “It’s so rare to make a movie that you can watch with your kids,” she said, reflecting on her character, Charlotte, who embarks on an adventure despite dealing with personal challenges.

Filming locations included the streets of Bangkok, Liverpool, and the historic pyramids in Egypt. Portman described filming at the pyramids as a surreal experience. “It was really a pinch-me moment,” she said. The team even made history by landing a Boeing Chinook helicopter at the Giza Plateau, where they filmed action sequences amidst tourists.

While many blockbuster films find their home in theaters, ‘Fountain of Youth’ was always intended for streaming. Krasinski stated, “This was always going to be a streaming movie,” highlighting a shift in how major productions are consumed.
