NEW YORK, N.Y. — Police are searching for a suspect following a random rock attack that injured a man near Hudson Yards. The incident occurred on September 24 at approximately 1:30 p.m.

The 41-year-old victim was walking in front of 610 West 29th Street when the unidentified individual threw a rock at him, striking him in the neck. According to police, the attack caused the victim pain and dizziness.

After the assault, the suspect fled eastbound on West 29th Street toward 10th Avenue. Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was listed in stable condition.

Police have released images of the suspect and are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. The NYPD continues to investigate the incident in the area known for its bustling activity.
