NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Taylor Zarzour has been named the new play-by-play announcer for the Tennessee Titans, officially taking over from longtime broadcaster Mike Keith.

The announcement came on Monday, April 7, 2025, marking a significant career milestone for Zarzour, who expressed his excitement about the role. “This is truly the role of a lifetime for me,” said Zarzour. “The Titans organization has always held a special place in my heart from my time in Nashville early in my career and I can’t wait to get started.”

Zarzour’s previous work includes serving as the play-by-play commentator for the SEC Network‘s Saturday afternoon college football games. He has been with ESPN since 2015, where he called both college football and baseball games. Additionally, he has served as a host and director for SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio, covering golf’s major championships, and is currently working the Masters tournament this week.

“We are so excited to welcome Taylor back to Nashville, and to add him to our team as Titans broadcaster,” said Erin Swartz, the Titans Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing. “We were immediately struck by his passion for connecting with fans through his broadcasts, and by the energy he brings to his work. We know he’ll fit right into the Titans community and can’t wait for fans to meet him.”

Zarzour will not only handle play-by-play duties but will also host the “Brian Callahan Show” radio program and “Titans Football with Brian Callahan” television show. The complete Titans broadcast team for 2025 will be finalized soon.

For Zarzour, this role represents a return to his roots. He previously co-hosted the “Morning Sports Page” on Sports Radio 560 in Nashville before moving to his hometown of Mobile, Alabama, where he served as the Program Director and Afternoon Host at Sports Radio 105.5 WNSP. His broadcasting career began at WEAR TV in Pensacola, Florida.

Bob McClellan, Zarzour’s former co-host, expressed his admiration, stating, “I knew he was destined for big things. He definitely had the enthusiasm and the want-to to get to where he has gotten to now.”

As he steps into this new leadership role, Zarzour acknowledges the high standards set by his predecessor, Mike Keith. “I think the world of Mike — I’ve always been a big fan of his and think he’s always done such an incredible job of calling a game,” Zarzour said. “I will certainly try in my own way to create that connection as well.”

Zarzour also expressed his desire to honor Keith’s legacy by referring to his great calls and hopes that the new stadium’s radio booth will be named after him. “He deserves that — it should be ‘The Mike Keith Radio Booth’ in the new stadium,” Zarzour added.

Reflecting on his childhood, Zarzour shared, “When I was a kid, I loved listening to football games on the radio… I always loved how he represented everyone. I am going to be the voice of the Titans, that’s for sure.”
