Team WRT BMW M4 LMGT3 Unveils Impressive New Liveries for 24 Hours of Le Mans
The Team WRT BMW M4 LMGT3 team is set to turn heads at the upcoming 24 Hours of Le Mans with striking new paint schemes. The #31 BMW M4 LMGT3 will feature a red-and-white striped design inspired by the BMW 3.0 CSL UFO from 1977. This livery is a tribute to Luigi Racing, and it holds a special significance for Team WRT’s sporting director, Pierre Dieudonné, who was part of the winning team with this model 47 years ago.
Interestingly, Team WRT’s team boss, Vincent Vosse, also has a deep connection to the iconic BMW 3.0 CSL UFO. A surprising anecdote reveals that Vosse already possessed a sticker featuring the model even before Dieudonné suggested it for the new livery.
In addition, the #46 BMW will showcase a unique seventies style inspired by the livery worn by the #46 car that races in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe. This design pays homage to the flame, sun, and crescent symbols regularly seen on the helmets of nine-time Grand Prix motorcycle racing world champion, Valentino Rossi.
Both the #31 and #46 BMW cars will be publicly displayed for the first time during the Scrutineering sessions. Fans can catch a glimpse of these impressive new liveries as the cars are examined by officials in preparation for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Excitement is building for the 24 Hours of Le Mans event, where the Team WRT BMW M4 LMGT3s are set to make a memorable statement with their visually stunning and historically significant paint schemes.
