Terry McLaurin Questionable After Injury in Commanders’ Victory
LANDOVER, Md. — Wide receiver Terry McLaurin is feeling positive about his performance in the Washington Commanders‘ game against the Las Vegas Raiders. However, he suffered a quad injury during the match and is now considered “questionable” to return.
The Commanders currently lead the Raiders 34-16 early in the fourth quarter. McLaurin’s injury adds another challenge to a team that has already faced multiple setbacks this season, including injuries to quarterback Jayden Daniels and tight end John Bates.
Before his injury, McLaurin had three catches for 74 yards, featuring a notable 56-yard reception. He has recorded 10 catches for 149 yards so far this season but has yet to score a touchdown.
McLaurin nearly found the end zone on a long pass from quarterback Marcus Mariota but was ruled down at the 1-yard line. Shortly after, rookie running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt scored from one yard out, extending Washington’s lead significantly.
The Commanders are managing without several key players, including running back Austin Ekeler, who is out for the season with a torn Achilles. With hopes of McLaurin returning next week, the team aims to maintain a competitive edge in the NFC.
As the team monitors McLaurin’s situation, they will continue to look for ways to build on their performance. Fans are eager for updates on his health, as his presence is vital for their playoff aspirations. The Commanders are determined to keep their momentum going as the season progresses.
