Tim McGraw to Headline Field of Dreams Concert in Dyersville
DYERSVILLE, Iowa — Country music superstar Tim McGraw will headline a concert at the iconic Field of Dreams Movie Site on Aug. 30, 2025, organizers announced Thursday. The event will celebrate music, family, and the spirit of baseball while paying tribute to McGraw’s late father, MLB legend Tug McGraw, on what would have been his 81st birthday.
Nathan Runde, President of Dyersville Events, Inc., expressed excitement about the concert, calling it a “celebration of music and community.” He added, “The fact that the event will also pay homage to Tim’s late father is in the true spirit of what the Field of Dreams is all about: inspiring dreams, uplifting families, and building character.”
Tickets for the concert will be available through StubHub, with options ranging from General Admission at $69.99 during pre-sale to VIP packages priced at $499.99. Pre-sales begin Jan. 20, 2025, with general sales starting Jan. 24, 2025. Additional acts for the event will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Field of Dreams Movie Site, located in Dyersville, Iowa, has become a cultural landmark since the release of the 1989 film. The concert marks a new chapter in the site’s evolution as a destination for both baseball enthusiasts and music fans.
McGraw, who last performed in Iowa in March 2025, described the event as a “once-in-a-lifetime experience” for fans. The concert is expected to draw thousands to the rural Iowa town, further cementing the Field of Dreams as a hub for community and entertainment.
