Todd And Julie Chrisley Release From Prison

Pensacola, Florida — Todd and Julie Chrisley, stars of the reality show “Chrisley Knows Best,” were released from federal prison on Wednesday after receiving presidential pardons from Donald Trump.

Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, both served time for bank fraud and tax evasion. They were sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison in 2022. Their daughter, Savannah Chrisley, celebrated the occasion as she awaited her father’s release from the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola.

Hours before their release, Savannah posted on Instagram a photo of her parents reunited, smiling together, captioned, “Reunited and it feels so good.” The couple had not seen each other in over two years.

Upon leaving the prison, Savannah expressed her relief, saying, “Honestly, this process has been absolutely insane, and I am so grateful that I’m going to leave here with my dad.” She had been a vocal supporter of their efforts to gain clemency, revealing that the chance to receive a pardon came unexpectedly.

Attorney Alex Little confirmed that both Todd and Julie Chrisley had been granted full pardons by President Trump, effectively wiping away their convictions. Little stated that a pardon of this nature generally terminates the case as if it never occurred.

In her comments to reporters, Savannah highlighted the broader implications of her parents’ case, voicing support for reform in the criminal justice system. She emphasized, “I think it’s really important that we fight for every man that has been left behind here.”

As the Chrisleys begin to reintegrate into society, they are expected to return to their television roots with a new series that will document their legal battles and their return to freedom.

“The pardon literally came out of nowhere,” Savannah said, reflecting on the emotional whirlwind leading up to her parents’ release.
