Top-Ranked Teams Face Off in Players Era Festival
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (November 25, 2025) — The Players Era Festival continues today with an exciting matchup between No. 7 Michigan and No. 21 Auburn. The game tips off at 8:30 p.m. ET at Michelob Ultra Arena, promising a thrilling contest as both teams vie for a spot in the championship game.
Michigan enters the game undefeated at 5-0 following a decisive 94-54 victory over San Diego State. Auburn, after its own successful outing against Oregon, is looking to bolster its record with a win against the Wolverines.
The Wolverines have dominated their opponents, showcasing a formidable offense that averages 90.6 points per game and a top-tier defense ranked second in adjusted efficiency. “Our focus has been on maintaining balance on both ends of the court,” said Michigan head coach.
Auburn, ranked 19th, has also demonstrated offensive prowess, scoring over 93 points in multiple games this season. Guard Keshawn Hall leads the Tigers with an average of 22.2 points per game. “When our players are firing on all cylinders, we can compete with the best,” Hall said after the win against Oregon. His teammate, Tahaad Pettiford, is coming off a strong 24-point performance, further adding to the Tigers’ scoring options.
The previous matchup between these two teams last year ended with Auburn victorious at 78-65. As they prepare for today’s rematch, Michigan looks to assert its dominance while Auburn aims to avenge last year’s defeat. “We’ve learned from the past and are ready to give it our all,” said an Auburn player.
The game is critical for both teams, as the winner will likely advance to the championship round of the Players Era Festival. Fans can watch the exciting action live on TNT.
