Trump to Host Multiple Dinners at Mar-a-Lago on Election Night
Former President Donald Trump is set to spend Election Night hosting multiple dinners at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida. According to sources familiar with the plans, Trump will dine with an intimate group of close friends, as well as host a separate dinner for Mar-a-Lago club members in the ballroom.
Earlier in the day, Trump is expected to cast his vote in person in Palm Beach, despite previously indicating he would vote early. The dinners at Mar-a-Lago will not feature formal speeches, but Trump is likely to stop by to greet the attendees.
Some of the dinner attendees plan to head to the Palm Beach Convention Center after the dinners to continue watching the election results unfold.
This election night gathering is part of Trump’s final push in a tightly contested presidential race against Vice President Kamala Harris. The latest polls show a close race, with Harris slightly ahead nationally but Trump leading in some key swing states.
