UAB Blazers Face Off Against Florida Atlantic Owls on Saturday

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The UAB Blazers (2-3) will take on the Florida Atlantic Owls (2-3) this Saturday, October 11, at 6 p.m. ET at Flagler Credit Union Stadium. This match-up is part of the American Athletic Conference and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
The Owls are coming into this game after a thrilling 27-21 victory against the Rice Owls. Caden Veltkamp shone as quarterback, completing 23 of 33 passes for 290 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the last game.
In their previous game, the Blazers struggled against Army, losing 31-13. Jalen Kitna threw for 259 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Despite the loss, Kitna’s performance was noted for its competitiveness.
