College Football Undefeated Teams 2024

As the 2024 college football season progresses into Week 7, several teams remain undefeated, showcasing their strength and resilience on the field. At the top of the list is No. 1 Texas, which has maintained a perfect 5-0 record. The Longhorns, under Coach Steve Sarkisian, have yet to face a significant challenge this season, with their only ranked game being against now-No. 24 Michigan four weeks ago.

No. 3 Oregon, led by Coach Dan Lanning, also remains undefeated with a 5-0 record. The Ducks recently defeated the Ohio State Buckeyes, a significant victory that has propelled them to the top ranks. This win has also led ESPN‘s Rece Davis to rank Oregon as the new No. 1 team in college football.

No. 4 Penn State, under Coach James Franklin, is another team with a perfect record, standing at 5-0. The Nittany Lions have found their footing after a close early-season game against Bowling Green and are set to face USC this weekend.

No. 6 Miami (FL) is also undefeated with a 6-0 record. The Hurricanes have had a strong start to the season, including a close win against California in their last game.

Other undefeated teams include No. 11 Iowa State, No. 14 BYU, No. 18 Indiana, No. 22 Pittsburgh, Army, and Navy. Iowa State and BYU are both 5-0, while Indiana is 6-0, marking their best start since 1967. Pittsburgh, after a disappointing 2023 season, has found new life with transfer quarterback Eli Holstein. Army and Navy continue their strong performances, with Army holding the longest win streak in FBS football at nine games.

These teams will face various challenges in the coming weeks, with several matchups against ranked opponents that could test their undefeated status. As the season unfolds, it will be interesting to see which teams can maintain their perfect records).
