Vanderbilt Aims for Historic Win Against Alabama on October 4
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The No. 10 Vanderbilt Commodores are set to face off against the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, October 4, at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will kick off at 12:30 p.m. PT (3:30 p.m. ET).
This matchup marks a thrilling rematch from last season, when Vanderbilt stunned Alabama with a 40-35 victory, a game that remains a highlight for the Commodores. Currently, Vanderbilt holds a 5-0 record, representing their best start since 1928, which has heightened expectations among their fans.
“We are excited to show everyone what our team can do,” said Vanderbilt head coach. “Winning against Alabama last year was a monumental moment for us, but we know they will come out strong this time.”
Alabama, making its way through a competitive season, will be looking for redemption after the unforeseen loss. The Crimson Tide secured a convincing victory in Week 5, with their starting quarterback demonstrating impressive form by completing 24 passes for 276 yards and two touchdowns.
The game will be broadcast live on ABC and can also be streamed via the ESPN App with subscription plans. The current spread favors Alabama by 12.5 points, with an over/under set at 57.5.
As the season approaches its halfway mark, both teams are striving for the College Football Playoff, making this game pivotal for both programs.
Vanderbilt’s powerful offense will be tested against Alabama’s defense, and fans are eager to see if the Commodores can replicate last year’s success.
