Veteran Tackle Trent Brown Signs One-Year Deal with Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals have bolstered their offensive line by signing veteran tackle Trent Brown to a one-year contract for the upcoming 2024 NFL season. The deal was confirmed by NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport following Brown’s visit to Cincinnati.
Brown, a seasoned player with a decade of experience, will be taking on the role of the Bengals’ new right tackle, replacing the departed starter. He brings a wealth of experience from his time with various teams including the San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, and Las Vegas Raiders.
Having played in over 100 regular-season games and being part of the Super Bowl-winning Patriots team, Brown’s Pro Bowl pedigree adds a valuable asset to the Bengals’ offensive line.
Despite facing health challenges in recent years that limited his playing time, Brown has consistently performed well when on the field, earning praise for his blocking skills and versatility at both tackle positions.
With a history of success at the NFL level and a reputation for solid play, Brown’s addition to the Bengals’ roster is seen as a strategic move to provide stability and protection for quarterback Joe Burrow, who aims to lead the team to further success in the AFC.
