Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma Welcome A Baby Boy, Share Joyful News On Instagram

Renowned Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma have become proud parents once again as they welcomed a baby boy into their family. The celebrity couple joyfully shared the news on their social media accounts, revealing that the newborn’s name is Akay.

The couple’s first child, a daughter named Vamika, was born in 2021. Kohli took to Instagram to express their happiness, extending gratitude and seeking blessings from well-wishers. The couple requested privacy during this special time in their lives.

Congratulations poured in for Kohli and Sharma from fans and celebrities alike. Former spinner Harbhajan Singh, explosive opener Virender Sehwag, as well as cricketers Rashid Khan and Yuzvendra Chahal, among others, sent their best wishes to the star couple. Comedian Kapil Sharma also extended his prayers for the family.

This news comes at a time when Kohli has been on a break from cricket. He has opted out of the ongoing test series against England due to personal reasons. Kohli last played for India in a T20 match on January 17. On the other hand, Anushka’s last appearance was in the movie ‘Zero‘ in 2018.
