Vote for Athlete of the Week: Standout Football Players Nominees
Detroit, MI – This week, the Detroit Free Press is inviting readers to vote for the Athlete of the Week from standout football players who excelled from November 2 to November 8. The voting will remain open until noon on Friday, November 14.
Among this week’s nominees is Barber, a junior receiver from Orchard Lake. He helped lead the Eaglettes in a match on Friday, November 7, contributing 91 receiving yards on five catches, including two touchdown receptions. In addition, Barber rushed for another touchdown, accumulating 34 yards on six carries.
Another contender is Coffman from East Kentwood. He put on an impressive performance on Saturday, November 8, completing 16 of 22 passes for a remarkable 372 yards and five touchdowns. Coffman also showcased his versatility by rushing the ball nine times for 96 yards.
The third nominee, Salder, shined during his game as well. The number one senior in Michigan had a stunning performance, recording 157 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He also made a significant impact with a 68-yard punt return.
Readers can return every Tuesday morning to partake in the voting process for Athlete of the Week. Nominations for the following week, from November 9 to November 15, can be submitted until 10 a.m. on Monday. However, to vote, please use the provided poll and not the nomination link.
