Will Smith Responds to Jannik Sinner’s Biopic Suggestion

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Jannik Sinner, the Italian tennis star, surprised fans with a lighthearted response when asked which Hollywood star he would choose to play him in a hypothetical biopic. During a recent interview, Sinner quipped, “Will Smith! Why not?” with a grin.
The playful exchange caught the attention of Smith, who joined in on the fun by posting an AI-generated image of himself hoisting a trophy that Sinner won this year. The actor added the caption, “I’m in!” on his Instagram story, further igniting the playful banter between the two.
Will Smith is no stranger to the tennis world, having portrayed Richard Williams, the father of champions Venus and Serena Williams, in the Oscar-winning film “King Richard.” He has also been seen courtside cheering at various tournaments.
Sinner, currently ranked No. 2 in the PIF ATP Rankings, is coming off a successful season with a 43-6 record and 21 tour-level titles. He’s set to compete next week in the ATP 500 event in Vienna.
The interaction comes on the heels of Sinner’s continued success on the court, where he recently bested Novak Djokovic at the Netflix Six Kings Slam, cementing his place among the elite in tennis.
After his defeat, Djokovic expressed his frustrations, joking about needing a younger body to compete with rising stars like Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. “It’s never nice when someone kicks your a– like this on the court,” Djokovic said.
Despite setbacks, Djokovic is determined to chase his 25th Grand Slam title, stating, “I still have the drive.” He promised to keep challenging the younger generation in upcoming tournaments.
