Zac Brown to Launch First Artist-Curated Venue at Sea
MIAMI, FL — Zac Brown, the frontman of the Zac Brown Band, is making waves in the cruise industry with the launch of his new music venue called Same Boat onboard the Margaritaville at Sea cruise line’s upcoming Beachcomber ship. This innovative venue marks the first artist-curated music space at sea and will be the largest live music venue in the fleet.
The Beachcomber is set to make its inaugural sailing in January 2027 from Miami, and cruisers can look forward to live performances, cocktails, and an immersive musical experience. Brown has taken an active role in the venue’s creation, contributing to every design detail, artwork, and music programming.
“Designing Same Boat has been about bringing that easygoing energy that’s always guided my music to life,” Brown said in a statement. “Every detail reflects pieces of my own journey — from the stage to the sea — all coming together to create a place where people can connect, share a drink, listen to great music, and feel that incredible sense of freedom.”
To celebrate this partnership, the cruise line announced a giveaway that will allow two lucky fans to see the Zac Brown Band perform at their Las Vegas residency in January 2026. The prize also includes participation in the Beachcomber’s first sailing.
Brown’s latest album, “Love and Fear,” is set to be released on December 5, coinciding with the band’s residency shows. “I’m telling my very personal story that I’ve never really told,” Brown shared about his performances, emphasizing a deep connection between his life experiences and his music.
