Fans took to social media to praise Kiwanuka's performance, with many commending his resilience and musical prowess under pressure.

However, the BBC‘s coverage of the event came under fire for cutting away from the artist's set, prompting backlash from viewers following the festival both on-site and from home.

As the Manchester Evening News reported, while technical issues may have marred his performance, Michael Kiwanuka still managed to shine bright on one of Glastonbury's most iconic stages.
