Tyla Yaweh Wows Audience At 2024 Bet Awards With Electrifying Performance Of 'jump'

South African sensation Tyla Yaweh had everyone on their feet with her show-stopping performance of ‘Jump’ alongside Skillibeng and Gunna at the prestigious 2024 BET Awards on Sunday night.

The talented artist, who had already snagged the Best New Artist and Best International Act awards earlier in the evening, captivated the audience with her electrifying stage presence.

The performance featured a unique setup, with dancers painted as different parts of a tiger, a rope swing entrance by Tyla, and dramatic appearances by Skillibeng and Gunna.

During her acceptance speech for the Best New Artist award, Tyla expressed her love for fellow nominee Sexyy Redd and dedicated her win to Africa, emphasizing the importance of representing African talent on a global stage.

Her performance of ‘Jump’ was a visual spectacle, complete with dancers in tiger suits, performers on stilts, and even an elephant statue adorning the stage.

Tyla’s debut album, which includes ‘Jump’, was released in March to critical acclaim, showcasing her ability to merge dance and pop elements seamlessly.

The Johannesburg native, who was also nominated for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Viewer’s Choice Award for ‘Water’, continues to make waves in the music industry with her infectious energy and unique style.
