Nehal Wadhera Ipl Performance Rajasthan Royals

Jaipur, India – Nehal Wadhera delivered an impressive performance for Punjab Kings (PBKS) during an Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium on May 18, 2025.

The left-handed batter scored his career-best IPL score of 70 runs off just 37 balls, featuring five sixes and five fours. This accomplishment came after PBKS struggled early, losing three wickets within the first four overs.

Wadhera partnered with skipper Shreyas Iyer for a crucial 67-run fourth-wicket stand, stabilizing the team’s innings after they had been reduced to 34 for three. Iyer contributed 30 runs, while Shashank Singh, who joined Willehera, added an impressive 59 not out.

Wadhera’s previous highest IPL score was 64, achieved against Chennai Super Kings in 2023. He has now scored four fifties in the IPL, two of which were against RR. In three innings against them, Wadhera has amassed 181 runs at an average of 60.33 and a striking rate of 177.4.

This season has marked a personal best for Wadhera, who has accumulated a total of 280 runs over 10 innings with an average of 35 and a strike rate of 157.3. His performance continues to demonstrate his rising talent in the league.

Ultimately, Wadhera’s explosive hitting helped propel PBKS to a competitive score of 219 for 5, a feat made more impressive given their shaky start.
