CANNES, France — As their June wedding date approaches, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and fiancée Lauren Sanchez are displaying their affection in a big way. Over the weekend, they were seen on Bezos’ $500 million superyacht, enjoying a romantic getaway.

In images obtained by the Daily Mail, Bezos, 61, appeared to be playful with Sanchez, 55, at one point spanking her as she lounged in a tiny thong bikini. The couple was anchored off the south coast of France, having reunited after Sanchez’s extravagant bachelorette party in Paris.

On deck, Sanchez showcased her impressive figure while dancing and enjoying the sunshine. A source close to the couple described them as “madly in love,” adding that their relationship is filled with joy and laughter. “They genuinely like each other, know what they have, and are enjoying it to the fullest,” the insider said.

Amid the festivities, Sanchez was described as being in high spirits, even as Bezos opted for a more understated look of swim trunks and a navy T-shirt.

The couple is slated to tie the knot in Venice, Italy, with plans for a lavish multi-day ceremony. Rumors suggest that famed performers Elton John and Lady Gaga may headline the event, which is expected to have around 200 guests, including celebrity friends such as members of the Kardashian clan and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Bezos and Sanchez’s relationship, which started in 2019, drew public attention following both of their divorces from their previous partners. Their romance became public shortly after Bezos finalized his split from Mackenzie Scott. The couple announced their engagement in May 2023 while aboard Bezos’ megayacht, Koru. The yacht is equipped with numerous luxurious amenities, revealing the lavish lifestyle they share.
