Paige Drummond Wedding Drummond Ranch

Osage County, Oklahoma — Paige Drummond and David Andersen exchanged vows on May 17 at the Drummond family ranch, a place that holds deep significance for Paige, who has cherished memories of growing up there. The wedding took place against a backdrop of a stunning Oklahoma sunset, a familiar sight for the Drummond family.

Paige, Ree and Ladd Drummond’s youngest daughter, has returned to her roots after graduating from college to work on the ranch, planning her wedding in the very spot that shaped her childhood. “I couldn’t see it happening anywhere else,” Paige said. “It’s truly one of the prettiest places, and it’s so close to my heart.”

Paige and David met through mutual friends while studying at the University of Arkansas and Oklahoma State University, respectively. The couple celebrated their union with hundreds of friends and family at the ranch, where floral arrangements adorned the venue and memories were shared under a canopy of flowers.

Planning the wedding was a collaborative effort between Paige and her mother, Ree. “It’s nice to have somebody there who has similar taste,” said Paige. The two even managed to choose the wedding date just one day after Paige’s engagement. “We literally got the wedding date figured out the day after I got engaged, which is hilarious,” Paige recalled.

For her wedding dress, Paige chose a simple yet elegant design by Lela Rose, reminiscent of Ree’s own gown from 1996. “It’s the dress of my dreams,” she exclaimed. David, showing a nod to ranch life, opted for cowboy boots to complement his formal attire. The couple decided to maintain a traditional approach, refraining from a first look and instead sharing that moment at the altar.

The ceremony featured 12 bridesmaids, with Paige’s older sister, Alex, serving as Matron of Honor. The couple took their vows in front of a floral-covered cross, surrounded by a lively atmosphere filled with joy and love.

After the ceremony, the reception showcased a magical setting filled with colorful flowers and a stunning cake crafted by local bakers. Paige expressed her desire for vibrant blooms, stating, “I always knew that I wanted some color at my wedding.”

Western-themed elements, such as saddle bar seats and cowboy boot place cards, highlighted the couple’s personalities. The first dance was to “Joy of My Life” by Chris Stapleton, a song meaningful to the bride and groom, who are both fans of country music.

Family played an integral role in the wedding, with Paige incorporating her grandmother’s sapphire ring as her “something blue” and a locket with photos of her late grandparents into her bouquet. David’s mother, Heather, expressed her happiness over David finding a partner as strong and kind as Paige.

As the couple embarks on their new journey together, they look forward to a honeymoon in Costa Rica and the start of their life as husband and wife. “I’m looking forward to not having to say goodbye to her,” David said.
