NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The AC/DC concert at Nissan Stadium has been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 21, due to severe weather expected on the originally planned date.

Nissan Stadium announced the change on social media, reassuring fans that all previously purchased tickets would be honored for the new date. Ticket purchasers will receive an email containing additional details.

Originally, the concert was set for May 20 at 7 p.m., but with a First Alert Weather Day issued for the region, the stadium has taken precautionary measures. The WSMV4 First Alert Weather team predicts that strong storms may impact fans as they arrive at the venue and could coincide with the concert’s start time.

“We are monitoring the weather and will give updates through our official accounts,” Nissan Stadium posted. “We want to ensure the safety of all attendees.”

The First Alert Weather Day on Tuesday indicates a heightened risk of strong to severe thunderstorms throughout the day, with concerns about damaging winds and large hail, and potentially isolated tornadoes.

Fans are encouraged to stay updated and check back frequently with the WSMV4 First Alert Weather Team as conditions evolve.
