Rehab to Perform at Warner Robins Independence Day Celebration

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — The band Rehab will be performing at the Warner Robins Independence Day Celebration on June 28, as announced in a press release from the city.
Founded by Warner Robins native Danny Boone, Rehab is known for its unique blend of southern rock, hip-hop, and country music. One of their biggest hits, “Sittin’ at a Bar,” was released 25 years ago.
Mayor LaRhonda Patrick expressed excitement about the performance, saying, “We are honored to have Rehab, especially Danny Boone, performing at home during this incredible annual event. Showcasing local talent that has gained national recognition makes this celebration even more meaningful for our community.”
This year’s Independence Day celebration will also feature Sheila E., often referred to as the “queen of percussion,” who has performed with stars like Prince, Beyonce, and Jennifer Lopez. A Taylor Swift tribute band called Reputation will also take the stage.
In 2023, the event featured Jefferson Starship after the previous year’s festivities were canceled due to storms. The band was brought back to perform again this year.
The celebration will include food vendors, family-friendly activities, and a fireworks display. The event is free to the public, with gates opening at 6 p.m. on June 28. For more information about the Warner Robins Independence Day Celebration, visit the city’s website.
