Rare David Lynch Artifacts Set for Auction This June

Los Angeles, CA – Fans of renowned filmmaker David Lynch will have a unique opportunity to own a piece of his artistic legacy. More than 450 items from Lynch’s personal collection are being auctioned in a live event scheduled for June 18, organized by Julien’s Auctions in collaboration with Turner Classic Movies.
The auction will be held on Julien’s Auctions’ website and at their auction house in Gardena, California. The collection includes a variety of personal artifacts such as props, musical instruments, fine art, and furniture, alongside tools from Lynch’s home woodshop and paint supplies from his home art studio.
This auction features memorabilia from some of Lynch’s most iconic works, including the acclaimed series ‘Twin Peaks,’ as well as films like ‘Mulholland Drive,’ ‘Eraserhead,’ ‘The Elephant Man,’ and ‘Blue Velvet.’ Notable items up for bid include prop menus from Winkie’s Sunset Boulevard in ‘Mulholland Drive,’ a steel guitar from his home studio, and a vintage chenille sofa reminiscent of the one seen in ‘Lost Highway.’
Beyond this auction, additional Lynch memorabilia will be showcased at the Hollywood Legends auction on June 19 and 20. Some items will even be displayed at Cinespia’s sold-out screening of ‘Blue Velvet’ on May 31.
Catherine Williamson, managing director of entertainment for Julien’s Auctions, shared her excitement for the event, stating, ‘Julien’s and TCM are honored to represent and offer to the public for the first time this incredible collection of one of the greatest and most revered filmmakers of all time, David Lynch. These historical and cherished pieces reflect Lynch’s singular artistic vision and come directly from the home of this visionary artist.’
Fans can also recreate their own ‘Twin Peaks’ experience with items such as Lynch’s iconic red curtain and black and white zig-zag rug, as they bid for a chance to own a piece of cinematic history.
