Lainey Wilson New Album Release Performance

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Lainey Wilson, fresh off her successful evening at the 60th Annual ACM Awards, returns to the spotlight this Friday with the release of her new single, ‘Somewhere Over Laredo.’

Wilson took home four awards, including Album of the Year and Female Artist of the Year. Her latest track combines a nostalgic vibe with tributes to small-town life, drawing inspiration from the classic ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ as she reflects on lost love from an airplane.

“This song is about looking back and remembering the beauty of where we came from while also mourning what we’ve lost,” Wilson shared ahead of its debut.

Fans can expect to hear the song performed live for the first time on May 26 during the American Music Awards, where Wilson is also nominated for Favorite Female Country Artist.

Adding to the Americana music scene this week, Chris Stapleton teases a new track from the upcoming film ‘F1 THE MOVIE‘ featuring Brad Pitt. His new release titled ‘Bad I Used To Be’ showcases Stapleton’s trademark depth and storytelling.

Kelsea Ballerini marks the 10th anniversary of her debut album ‘The First Time’ with four new songs, including a previously unheard track ‘Boy Meets Girl.’

Nate Smith captures heart-wrenching emotions with ‘Dad’s Don’t Die,’ a ballad emphasizing the eternal bond between fathers and their children, while Tiera Kennedy, Sam Williams, and Adam Doleac add vibrant new entries to the genre.

From heartfelt anthems to upbeat dance hits, the Americana playlist reflects an evolving sound this week, promising to keep listeners engaged as summer approaches.

As the new songs roll out, fans are encouraged to listen to the ‘Holler Best New Country’ playlist available on Spotify, Apple Music, and other major platforms.
