Elden Ring Nightreign: New Quests Unveil Secrets of the Nightlords

LOS ANGELES, CA — The latest expansion for Elden Ring, titled Nightreign, introduces new quests that delve into the mysterious origins of the Nightlords, offering players fresh challenges and rewards. The Recluse’s Remembrance quest is one of the highlights, blending combat, puzzle-solving, and lore-rich storytelling.

The quest begins with players taking on the Recluse character and referencing her journal’s second chapter. Players need to complete several expeditions to unlock this chapter, which appears after successfully finishing a few missions. Notably, even failed expeditions count towards unlocking the next chapter, making the gameplay more flexible.

Players can initiate the Recluse’s quest by speaking with the Iron Menial in Roundtable Hold. He tasks them with defeating a specific enemy tainted by the night. After this initial task, players battle a Night-Swallowed boss, requiring them to be at least level three to ensure a fair fight.

Upon defeating the enemy, players receive a Night Shard, which they return to the Iron Menial. Successful interaction with him unlocks further rewards like the Recluse’s Chalice, enhancing the character’s abilities.

As players progress, they must complete additional expeditions to reveal new journal entries, including cryptic quests to uncover hidden secrets within Roundtable Hold. The next tasks often lead to encounters with Nightlords, providing deeper lore about the night and its impact on the world.
