Roseanne Barr Texas Life Interview

Austin, TexasRoseanne Barr, the former star of the hit show “Roseanne,” shared her joy of living in Texas during an interview with Fox News Digital. Barr, now 72, described her move to the Lone Star State as a “dream come true” despite some unexpected challenges.

While working on her 30-acre property, Barr faced a mishap with her tractor. “I’ve got a really fantastic tractor out here, and I’m mowing. The only problem is I don’t clear the trees quite as good as I should,” she said. Barr recounted a recent incident where a tree branch fell and trapped her under the weight of her tractor, which she estimated weighed about 100 pounds.

“So, I knew I had to get out of there… It took me about an hour to move the tree ‘inch by inch’ before I could flip it over,” Barr explained. Despite her injury, she expressed pride in handling the situation. “I just said my mighty prayers that always work,” she added. “And I just flipped it.”

Barr’s love for Texas began to blossom after she considered relocating to Palm Beach, Florida, but ultimately decided against it due to the intense heat. “I think I’d rather burn in hell than live here in the sun,” she expressed, favoring her current home where she can enjoy the outdoors.

The actress is also set to release her documentary, “Roseanne Barr is America,” on June 10, which will showcase her life’s journey from poverty to success in comedy. Barr remarked on how her experiences reflect a typical American story of resilience and hard work.

Throughout her career, Barr faced numerous challenges, including controversial moments that led to significant changes in her career. However, she emphasized that she does not hold any bitterness towards her former co-stars despite their lack of communication since the show’s cancellation.

As Barr continues to navigate her life in Texas, she remains focused on embracing her passions and enjoying the journey ahead.
