Panda Fest Brings Asian Food Festival to Seattle This Weekend

SEATTLE, Washington — One of the largest outdoor Asian food festivals in the U.S. kicks off this weekend at the Seattle Center Fisher Pavilion. Panda Fest, running from June 6 to June 8, will showcase over 70 food, drink, and dessert vendors.
The festival promises a vibrant atmosphere complete with culinary delights, arts and crafts, and cultural experiences, not to mention a giant 15-foot inflatable panda. Local favorites and exotic dishes from national and international brands will be featured, providing a taste of flavors that Seattle typically lacks.
Guests can look forward to items like Tanghulu, a traditional Chinese dessert, and handmade Shaobing flatbread, beloved for its crispy texture. Also on the menu are soufflé pancakes that emulate fluffy clouds, and a variety of dumplings—including the famous soup dumplings from MìLà, the brand co-owned by actor Simu Liu.
For those craving savory, offerings also include Okonomiyaki, a Japanese pancake, and Rou Jia Mo, a renowned Chinese street food. All tickets must be purchased in advance; prices are $15 on Friday and Sunday, and $17 on Saturday. Children under six can enter free, enjoying activities such as a panda bounce.
Attendees will also receive complimentary gifts, including a custom-designed panda pin and a festive headband valued at $11. A VIP experience will be available for $35, enhancing the festival experience further.
