Lies of P: Overture Expands on Pinocchio’s Dark Journey

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Lies of P: Overture, a new downloadable content (DLC) expansion, launched on June 6, 2025. This prequel to the 2023 action role-playing game takes players deeper into the shadows of Krat, revealing events leading up to the Puppet Frenzy massacre.

Developed by Neowiz, Overture offers players a chance to explore a more intricate and tragic story centered around Geppetto’s puppet, Pinocchio, alongside his companion, Gemini. The DLC is accessible from Chapter 9 of the base game, presenting a higher difficulty level that challenges players’ skills in combat from the outset.

Players find themselves in a snowy forest where they quickly encounter a giant polar bear, which serves as an introduction to the revamped combat mechanics. The urgency of Overture’s pace is notable, providing about 15 hours of gameplay filled with tension and adventure as players pursue a Legendary Stalker through the doomed city.

The game’s atmospheric world, inspired by the Belle Époque, enhances its storytelling.
